Peterborough residents push recycling success over 48 per cent
Peterborough residents have helped push the city’s recycling performance beyond 48 per cent for the first time, provisional full-year figures for 2008/09 reveal.

Planning permission has recently been granted for an improved materials recycling facility. An application has been submitted for an energy-from-waste plant that will use non-recycled municipal waste as a fuel to generate renewable energy. The applications can be downloaded here.
